The Sunday photo project.

Here we go. My whole year’s worth of Sunday photos in one big photo overloaded post. I chose my favorite picture from each Sunday.  Some weeks were definitely better than others.  I am just happy we both stuck with it. High five Lydia!

Now if you count up my weeks, which I am sure nobody will because about five people read my blog(thanks for reading mom and sister!), but I really messed up on a couple of weeks. Last night I noticed my weeks were off a number and I was missing a Sunday somewhere in May! No idea what happened. I tried and tried with what brain power I have but the process was more confusing to me than Math 1050. And that’s really saying something.
So this project wasn’t perfect. But what in life is? My Lydia is what is perfect in my life that’s what. She got more beautiful and delightful with every passing week I captured.

Thanks for putting up with your picture happy mama Lyds.  I sure do love you.

Now I have a couple of ideas of what kind of photography project I would like to do for 2012.  I will keep you posted.  I need to pass it off with the man in charge around here first!

Oh and Happy New Years!

Sunday’s photo, week 47.

Not exactly on a Sunday, I was recovering from my brother’s weekend wedding down in St. George where I played photographer all weekend so pictures were not being taken on that Sunday. The wedding turned out fantastic by the way. I will share the pictures soon.
Here are Tayden and Lydia waiting around the St. George temple for the bride and groom to come out. Tayden just loves Lydia and Lyds is, we will just say, is working on her love for Tayden. But she does like a good hand hold as you see.

Sunday’s photo, week 48.

Our little girl with her baby princess in front of the Christmas tree.  What is it about Christmas trees that make your house feel so magical?

Lydia and I do a countdown to me plugging in the lights every night and then once they are on she insists on twirling in front of the tree.  I find myself wondering if Lydia can get any more girly most evenings.  I find she does indeed get more girly the next day and I love that about her even more.  Pray for Gregory to get a boy one day would you?

Lydia,

Those pigtails you are wearing with your blonde hair kinda makes me want to cry. You are growing up too fast everyday but getting more delightful by the minute. I was looking at tiny newborn pictures of you tonight. I thought about how I would hold and feed you all day long those first few weeks. How magical it was. Then I thought I wanted to go back to those moments. But then I realized I would miss you. I would really really miss this two year old you. The Lydia who can talk, laugh, and run with me. I guess I am just trying to say is I love every moment of you.  So happy and proud to be your mama.

Love,
Mama.

Sunday’s photo, week 41.

This day Lydia woke up and was like, “Mama, get that camera out of my face. Don’t even try it this morning chick.”

“I am not even going to look at you, but you are kinda funny.”
Photobucket
“Okay, I am looking just because you acting even funnier.”
Photobucket
“Oh mama, you kind of act like an idiot to get me to smile which is pretty funny to me so I will smile.”
Photobucket
“Awwwww! You got me to smile again Mama!”

P.S. Doesn’t Lydia’s bed head kinda look like an 80’s punk rocker?  Got to love it.
