Bronson and Hannah.

Photographing cute couples is the best. THE BEST! Love the style of this shoot. You can thank my girl Hannah for that. They are getting married in the middle of October. Can’t wait to see what else she has in store for me to photograph!

Sarah and Jason.

Sarah and Jason have only a few weeks left before they meet their baby boy.  They are going to have a beautiful little family when he comes.

Beautiful San Diego.

Greg and I road-tripped it down to San Diego for our five year anniversary starting the first weekend in August. We dropped Lydia off at my Mom’s and Lydia couldn’t have been happier to be playing with her Nana all weekend. This made me leaving her a whole lot easier. But on the way down to California I kept thinking, “What did I do? I just left her for almost a week! She’s not going to love me or want to come live with me again after spending the week with her Grandma’s!”
I made sure we did activities that wouldn’t make me miss Lydia any more than I did. The first days in San Diego we went to a different beach every morning and went boogey boarding. SO. MUCH. FUN. At night we would drive around different parts of the city to go shopping and find yummy places to eat.

We spent some time on Coronado island.  This place is heaven if you ask us.  Hopefully one day we become millionaires so we can buy a beautiful home on this island.  Wouldn’t that be nice?

I was sure to make Greg take me back to this same beach at sunset on Coronado island that we visited on our honeymoon.

This was an amazing getaway.  I am so happy we took time out to go on a vacation just us two.  I felt like we were back on our honeymoon all over again.  And our honeymoon was by far the best vacation we have ever been on so this pretty much equaled it.  I know I sound like I am bragging, and it’s because I totally am!  This anniversary trip was awesome!

It makes me cry a little inside to know we won’t be back to San Diego for years to come just the two of us.

Goodbye San Diego, we miss you so already.

Our five years.

Greg and I are off to celebrate five years of marriage in California for the next few days.  Can I get a yahoooooo?!

In some ways I feel like we have been married a whole lot longer than five years (in a good way), and then other days I feel like I blinked my eyes one day in high school and the next thing I know is I am living with Greg Simmons and I had his baby.

It has been amazing to see the blessings that have taken place in our lives since we were married in the temple.  Family, education, good health, a home, are just to name a few of the blessings we are so grateful for.  I hope these next five years are filled with a lot more babies and no moving!

High five on a well done first five years of marriage Greg.  I love you!

Alex and Alisha, the reception.

Alex and Alisha’s reception was held at My Noah’s in South Jordan, Utah.

It was a beautiful reception and crazy amounts of people came!  So many that at one point the videographer came to me and said,

“Do you realize the line is out the door to the railroad tracks?!”

They got a little playful when cutting the cake.

Then the dancing came and this reception turned into a crazy dance party. It was so much FUN! I almost started dancing myself it was such a party.

Thanks again now Mr. and Mrs. Alex Peterson!

Charlie and Danielle.

These guys just celebrated their one year anniversary and had me snap some photos of them as part of their celebration. Aren’t they a beautiful couple? And I love this idea! Any other couples want to celebrate an anniversary with a quick photo session? Give me a holla because this celebration was so fun to capture for Charlie and Danielle.

Mark and Jessica. The wedding, part II.

Mark and Jessica’s wedding reception was going to take place at a beautiful garden yard in Draper, but with the rainy cool weather all day they had it right next door at a church house. Everything was adorable and I especially loved the lemons and limes for the center pieces. It was a beautiful reception. So glad I was able to capture it for them. Thanks again Mark and Jessica!

Mark and Jessica. The wedding, part I.

Mark and Jessica are now married! The wedding took place in the Provo temple with the reception (which is for another post) taking place in Draper. The rain held off just enough for us to take pictures in front of the temple. As soon as I was walking to my car after calling it a wrap, it started pouring! Mother nature was obviously trying to be kind to us.
Don’t Mark and Jessica look adorable? Such a sweet couple and very much in love. I can’t thank them enough for letting me be part of their happy day.
