The preschool graduate.

Lydia has been a preschool graduate for a couple of weeks now.  Her preschool teacher “Teacher Nisha” puts on one cute show with the kids.  It included several songs, counting to 100, and showing off how they all knew their months, days of the week, and seasons.

Teacher Nisha does such a wonderful job teaching. Lydia has grown so much this past year because of her preschool. We will surely miss teacher Nisha! photo May192014_KaraSimmons_8_zpsa3561c18.jpg
Candy leis from Grandma and Grandpa Simmons and a flower lei from her Dad. She was pretty excited about them all. Expect she refused to wear the flower lei during the actual graduation? I think she thought it was causing too much attention to her or something. photo May192014_KaraSimmons_9_zpsfe508001.jpg photo May192014_KaraSimmons_10_zps007597e7.jpg
Lydia had many admirers to come celebrate her graduation with her.

And now we are preparing to move on to kindergarten. Wowza! Are we ready for this? Starting public school with our kids for years to come?  She’s ready that’s for sure.  This Lydia is one social butterfly.  Going to school every day to see friends is right up this girl’s alley.  Kind of like her mama. 🙂 I have loved this preschool Lydia age though and will miss it.  I have loved seeing her grow and change so much this last year.  Now let’s start playing hard this summer before I start complaining it’s over!
