On the day Hazel turned 9 months old, she decided that was the day she would start cruising around. She started off slow, but now she is pretty much into everything. I am constantly trying to pick up Charlotte’s food and water bowls, keep toilette paper out of reach, any electrical cords, the list goes on. It’s pretty darn cute watching her cruise around discovering things. One thing she hasn’t discovered yet, climbing the stairs! Keeping my fingers crossed it stays this way just a bit longer. Hazel has discovered shaking her head “no, no, no” and has even blown a couple of kisses when prompted. And she is such a Mama’s girl! Oh my. She gets nervous at big family gatherings if she isn’t next to me. When she does let someone hold her, she needs to have me in her sight or else whines will come. She attaches to me like a little monkey. She’s my little sidekick.
Hazel has been such a giggly thing lately! Greg, Lydia, and I can make her giggle so easily while at home. Definitely brings a happy feeling to our home hearing those giggles that’s for sure. And guess what? She’s already ten months today. My heart hurts thinking her birthday is just in two months! Stay my baby Hazel Evie!
