Peeking in on Santa.

Last Saturday evening, we decided that it was the night to go see Santa. Lydia has been asking all month long to go see Santa in his little “snow house.” Last year when we saw Santa it was snowing and thus “snow house” was named.

Lydia hopped right on Santa’s lap and quickly told him she wants, “A La La Loopsy doll and a kite!”  No idea where she got the idea of a kite from, but she has stuck with it, soooooooo Santa will be bringing this girl a kite.   photo Dec152013_KaraSimmons_7_zps10a2f6ed.jpg

After taking a break inside the Provo Beach Resort to hitch a ride on the carousel, we came back out to take one last look around at the lights.  We walked past Santa’s snow house as he was cleaning up to go home to see Mrs. Clause.  Lydia was lucky enough to have one last chat with Santa before he headed back to the North Pole for the night. 😉  He even showed her the Christmas bells up close and personal.  Lydia was a little star struck.   photo Dec152013_KaraSimmons_12_zps6c8d2636.jpg photo Dec152013_KaraSimmons_13_zps8e0ea2cf.jpg photo Dec152013_KaraSimmons_14_zps15c959a7.jpg photo Dec152013_KaraSimmons_16_zps20f3c039.jpgThe Santa visit was a success!  No tears from either girl, hardly a line to see Santa, and getting to see him twice.  Lydia must have been good this year!
