Oh dear. Hazel’s fifth month came and went. That girl already turned six months old on me! These were taken during her fifth month. Hazel’s fifth month to me will be known as the craziest/busiest/happiest October ever though.  So I’m just glad I actually shot these when she was five months.

In her fifth month, Hazel learned how to sit up!  She can sit up for very long periods of time.  Loves playing with anything that is in her reach.  And anything that is in her reach, she puts in her mouth, or chucks it awkwardly away from her.  She’s crazy interested in food and what we are eating.  I can tell she wants in on the action!  She will grab my hair at any chance she gets.  Lydia’s too.  I actually have to tell Lydia to stay out of Hazel’s reach after I do her hair because Hazel can ruin a good hair do in less than ten seconds.  Randomly Hazel will sleep through the night, but for the most part she is waking up once in the very early morning.  I know I shouldn’t be feeding her, but it’s just so much easier to feed her and cuddle her back to sleep.  Maybe now that she is six months she will be wanting to sleep through the night on her own.  One can wish!  But some nights, I kinda like the cuddle session.  As long as she goes right back to sleep!
