Ring the bell because school started this week for Lydia!  She now has preschool three times a week.  This girl was ready to go.  Her preschool is held just one street over from ours in the neighborhood so we walked on down holding hands.  She asked if I could stay with her during preschool, I said that I couldn’t because her teacher would be there for her, and she seemed okay with that.  When we got to the gate, she saw the kids playing in the play area and quickly ran off while saying bye to me at the same time.  Now I was fine with her being gone for a couple of hours a day, but a few tears were shed because of this girl growing up so fast on me.  A year ago, Lydia running off that fast would have never have had happened.  What a difference a year makes.  Seriously, she looks so old in these pictures! And I love that she wanted baby princess in some of them.  Watching your children grow is very bitter sweet is what I am learning.  Love watching her grow and experience life, but sad in the fact I’ll never have her at this stage again.  Oh parenting!  Such a roller coaster ride of emotions at all times I’m telling you.  But Lydia gives school two thumbs up!  She already has homework ready to turn in tomorrow (writing her name!) and she even has a field trip soon.  And you better believe I will be there to tag along. 🙂
