Lately, I have spent a lot of time admiring Lydia’s abstract art in the corner of our family room. She loves to trace her hands. I caught her trying to stretch a foot up there to trace that too. That move didn’t really work out though much to her dismay.
Lately, I have been crocheting a blanket for baby girl every spare moment I get. It’s just a big old granny square blanket. I can’t wait to crochet the night away watching Downton Abbey. I’m nearing the end of the second season. Have you started watching yet?!
Painted baby girl’s room a soft pink and cleaned it out this week. Lately, I have been dreaming baby girl was in my arms rather than in my tummy and I was rocking/nursing her in the rocking chair with the window open because it’s the summertime. Doesn’t that sound heavenly?
Lately, this girl cannot get enough of story telling. She asks Greg and I to tell a story every chance she gets. The stories are Lydia consisting of being a cowgirl/mermaid/princess/frog/rabbit/fish and Charlotte, her best friend, is always included too. She won’t go to bed without one now. Greg is much better at story telling than I am. But don’t tell him I told you that.
