Lake Powell. Part IV.

When we needed breaks from the sun we would play a lot of different card games in the houseboat.  Greg and Lydia are playing a riveting game of Go Fish here.

PhotobucketWe also had dance parties to break up the day too.  The kiddos can get down I tell you what.

PhotobucketThese girls were a little nervous to actually go down the houseboat’s slide into the water, so we did quite a few practice runs.

PhotobucketNephew Jantsen caught a lizard!  Highlight of the trip for the cousins.  I believe Jantsen named him George?  Maybe Fred?  Can any family member help me out here?

PhotobucketMy awesome family.  So happy to share all of these fun memories with them.
PhotobucketWe had a lot of fun moments not captured on film too.  Like staying up talking and laughing with siblings until I couldn’t see straight I was so tired,  the weird games the boys would come up with like going down the slide and trying to land on different floating objects, swimming to “pirate island” with bro-in-law Jeremy trying to pull a raft full of children around his neck, minute to win it games late night on the beach (especially the game Gregory lost terribly in!  Remember that fam?), the adventures of trying to put all the  children to sleep at night, the tipping of the waverunner while trying to stay dry numerous times, Gregory teaching the little ones funny catch phrases while throwing rocks, finding the perfect spot to park our houseboat, our hilarious(for many different reasons) relay race, eating delicious food and treats, sleeping all together on top of the houseboat, having nearly perfect weather, Greg, Kade, and I trying to all walk on the tube in a circle at the same time without falling off(it could not be done…), trying to following the U vs BYU games with very little cell phone service and watching the boys’ intense reactions, announcing to family members Greg and I were expecting baby #2, and so many more memories I hope to never forget.
