Lydia’s slip and slide birthday extravaganza.

It’s become a tradition that we do a giant slip and slide party to celebrate Lydia’s birthday.  It’s fun for adults, it’s fun for kids, and who doesn’t like sliding down a huge slip and slide?  Lydia went down the first couple of times by herself, but got cold and that was that.  She would go down with me holding her though.  Probably because I protected her from the sprinklers and she knows I don’t go fast.  She wouldn’t go down with Greg.  Hmm… I wonder why?  I bet she has learned from experience that Daddy does not go slow!

We were able to have another awesome cake made by my good friend Angie Haaga.  She does a fabulous job and her cakes are so delicious!  I didn’t get a good shot of the cake this year, because the poor thing fell over on the way to our house.  Bummer.  Still as yummy as ever though!  That didn’t seem to phase Lydia.  She just knew she wanted to attack all of that pink frosting.  Thanks again Angie!

You can find her first birthday party here and her second birthday party here. Hard to believe we have had three of these already. Stop growing Lydia!
