4th o’ July!

We try to cram as much fun into our 4th of July’s as possbile. We are usually exhausted by the end of the day. But exhausted by happiness of how much stinkin’ fun we had.

This year I decided to run the Freedom Run 10k with my sis-in-law Jasmine while our husband’s golfed nine holes.  Beautiful morning for a race and there is a lot of awesome people watching while you run.  Makes it fly by!
PhotobucketThe best part about the race is now Jasmine and I have matching shirts which we wear with pride.  Right Jasmine?!

Now onto the parade!  We did a little parade watching down in Provo after the run.  Love me some parade time.

I even got to see my favorite blogger in the world.  Nie Nie!  I was so happy to see her in the parade I started waving wildly.  I believe she noticed my excitement and sent a little wave my way.  Made my day I tell ya what.  I am sure she thought I was “special.”

Then off to let Greg play baseball with his family for a couple of hours which is not pictured.  Because I was lazy.  After baseball we drove around until Lydia fell asleep and then stuffed In-N-Out Burgers in our faces while she slept.  Also not pictured and you are welcome.

Next up in the 4th of July marathon, swimming!  Kade and Jasmine bought a new home that has a community pool and we decided to make use of it.  Lydia wore a pink polka dot bikini that might just be the most adorable thing I’ve seen.

Kristen(sister) had us over for a fabulously festive bbq at her home.  Delish as always sista.

We decided to call it a night a little earlier than usual because of little bro-in-law’s wedding the next morning.  But then we got to our street, our neighbors were lighting off fireworks, and I just couldn’t resist staying up.  How adorable is Lydia and her cute friends on our street watching fireworks together?

Then, finally friends, our marathon 4th of July was over. Until next year America’s birthday.  You are always so good to us.
